Universal Notre Dame Night will take place on Tuesday, June 11 at Field Club of Omaha. Once again, a table for Young Alumni is being provided by Dennis Murphy ’71 (also the 2012 ND Club of Omaha Person of the Year). The Notre Dame volleyball team will be in Omaha this Sunday to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers at the Century Link Center. Tickets are available at the box office for the 1:30 pm match.
A small contingent of Irish fans will be watching the game at Barrett’s in Midtown. Join in if you’d like to cheer on the Irish!
The Notre Dame women’s basketball team takes on Connecticut in the Final Four tonight at 5:30. This game will be broadcast on ESPN. There is no official, club-sponsored gamewatch for tonight. If the women advance, check back here for details on a gamewatch for the final.

The Fighting Irish will be taking on the Creighton Bluejays tomorrow (Dec. 4) at 1:35. We will be holding a pre-game get together at Billy Blue’s Alumni Grill located in the Harper Center – just up the street from Sokol Arena. If you’ve ordered tickets for the game, you can pick them up at the pre-game event.
Registration for the 2011 Notre Dame Club of Omaha Golf Tournament is now open. Click on the Golf 2011 tab to sign up. All proceeds from the tournament go to the Walsh scholarship, which provides scholarships for local Notre Dame students.
Some of this year’s prizes include a set of Cleveland irons, neon interlocking ND sign, and a golf swing analysis from GolfTec.
The Notre Dame club of Omaha is looking for local alumni who can host a UND student completing a summer service project. Bryan Williams will be working at the Sienna Francis House from May 15 – July 9. Currently, the week of June 26 – July 9 are covered.

The Skutt Catholic High Girls basketball team will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, January 29 to raise money for their team basketball camp at Notre Dame. See the flier below for details.
The gamewatch at Barrett’s (in the basement) is still on for tonight, starting at 6:00. If you can brave the snow, stop in for a appetizers and a drink and a chance to cheer on the Irish. Food is also available (2 for 1 burgers on Monday nights).
