This year’s Universal Notre Dame Night will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at Field Club Omaha. The evening begins with at cocktail hour at 6:00pm, followed by dinner at 7:00.

Each May, Notre Dame Clubs around the country celebrate the legacy of Fr. Hesburgh by completing service projects in their communities. Last year, over 20 ND Club of Omaha members took part in our day of service. This year we hope to gather even more volunteers for our service day on Saturday, May 18.
We will be working at the Jesuit Academy camp located at 245th and Q in Elkhorn. This family friendly event includes a range of activities for any volunteer. Cabins will need to be cleaned, the gravel driveway filled in, and hedges trimmed. Bring your shovels, rakes, and rags and the club will provide lunch.
Individuals or families are welcome to help any time between 9:30 and 2:00 (lunch around noon). If would like to attend this event, please fill out the volunteer form at this link
The Notre Dame Glee Club will arrive in Omaha on Saturday, March 16 for the final leg of their 2013 Spring Tour. Doors open at 7:00 and the singers will take the stage at 7:30. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for student, and $25 for families. Proceeds benefit the Walsh Scholarship. Start St. Patrick’s Day early with the Glee Club.

The Notre Dame Glee Club will perform at St. John’s Church on the Creighton University campus at 7:30 p.m. on March 16. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $25 for families.
We are currently seeking 20-30 host families for the students after the show. Accommodations include a bed for each student, transportation from the Creighton campus after the concert, and a return to the Creighton campus by 9:30 AM on Sunday, March 17, to meet the bus. The Notre Dame Club of Omaha will host a gamewatch for the National Championship game on January 7. It will be held at Security National Bank (1120 S. 101st St.) with doors opening at 6:30 pm. If you plan on attending, please indicate your intention on the form below so we can get an accurate count for food and drinks.
The Notre Dame Club of Omaha will be hosting a table at the Omaha Area College Fair on Sunday, October 28, 2012. The fair is from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at UNO. We will need someone to help with setup (just to bring the supplies to the fair) and then take them home (afterwards).

There are a number of tickets available on the ticket board – even 2 for the Shamrock Series game this weekend against the Hurricanes. Check the Football Tickets tab for ticket availability. There is even a hotel room available for the BYU game (click on the game to see details).
We had a successful gamewatch for the Michigan State game with nearly 40 people in attendance cheering the Irish on to victory. See some of the pictures below.
Dr. Charles Rice, Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Notre Dame, will speak at the Thomas More Society Fundraiser on Friday, September 21. The event starts at 6:30 pm and is being held at St. Charles Borromeo Parish Center in Gretna. Contact the parish office at (402) 916-9730 for tickets ($50).
