The ND Club of Omaha Christmas drive raised over $3500 this year. Below are some thank you’s from the organizations we helped.
The ND Club of Omaha Christmas drive had one of the biggest turnouts in years. Total cash donations were approximately $3,500. We supported about 20 families with food baskets at Liberty Elementary School. Also, we ‘adopted’ about 30 family members and 8 other single Seniors through the Grandparents Support Program at the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging. In addition to the donations to Liberty Elementary and E.N.O.A., we purchased about $1,500 worth of cold weather clothing, blankets, and hats/gloves/scarves, etc. for the Salvation Army ‘Winter Night Watch’ program and dozens of toys for Christmas giving to needy families as a general donation.
Thank you to all who donated. This outpouring of support helps many families facing difficult circumstances and is a testament to the Spirit of Notre Dame.
The ND Club of Omaha Christmas Giving Drive 2010 is off to a great start. There is still time to donate using PayPal (click the “Donate” button in the right sidebar) or by contacting coordinator Amy Patterson (Amy.Patterson@conagrafoods.com). This year the Club has agreed to match the first $1500 in donations. The money raised will be used to purchase winter clothing, necessities, and provide general assistance to families in need.
It’s time to kick off our 7th Annual Christmas Giving efforts. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE GENEROUS DONORS and your continued support for this program year after year! 2010 was a huge success.
Charities from 2009

Giving in 2010
Before I commit to the number of families we will adopt, I need feedback from you! We must relay our interest to the involved organizations as soon as possible. Gift donations will be due in ahead of the Christmas holiday in order to allow time to deliver the packages to the families. Cash donations are welcome as well (we will do the shopping for you) or you can donate online through our PayPal Link (see sidebar). All donations will be anonymous. Gifts do not have to be large in scale to make a difference. If you’re unable to donate financially, we would also appreciate your volunteer efforts regarding gift wrapping, etc. Check below for a volunteer interest inventory and the PayPal link.
Please contact Amy Patterson if you are interested in adopting a family, part of a family, or would like to give a cash donation. If you use PayPal, please add this in the memo when you checkout. I know our efforts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your support!
